Action - Do Actions in a Row#
This Action lets you choose a series of Actions that should happen in a specific order. However, it should be noted that the Actions don’t all happen together. Instead, only one Action in the list will happen, but next time, the next Action will happen, and so on until it gets to the end of the list. When it gets to the end of the list, the last Action will be the one that happens.
Example - Impatient Froggy#
Let’s say you have a Froggy in your game that doesn’t want to talk. You can make it so the first time you walk up to them, they say one thing. But the next time you walk up to them, they say something else. And the third time you walk up to them, they tell you to stop talking to them. And every time after that, they just tell you to stop talking to them.
Here’s how it would look in your Action Sequence:
- Do Actions in a Row
- Say Something - “Yes? Do you need something? I don’t have time to talk.”
- Say Something - “I said I don’t have time to talk!”
- Say Something - “Please stop interrupting me. I don’t want to talk right now.”
TIP: Use a Do Nothing Action to make it stop!
If, instead of repeating the last Action again and again, you just want nothing to happen, you can add a Do Nothing Action to the end of the list. Then, when the Action Sequence runs again, and already got to the end of your list, it will just… do nothing!
